Private residence, undisclosed location

This modernist residence was designed and built in the 70’s. Fifty years later a thorough renovation is adamant. The current owners brief was to not only restore its original beauty, update building physics, but also re-design the evening and sleeping quarters. The main focus for this project will be put to respecting and architecturally re-enforcing the houses’ open plan designed around a half open central courtyard. The new to be re-constructed addition will be done in the same materials as the main volume and will strive to create a unity in both appearance and lay out.
